Docusign now prints seat prices for its agreement platform and still keeps CLM behind a quote. The catch sits in the feature table: the parts a legal team buys it for are on the plan with no price.
Figures are labeled as published by Docusign (read on its pricing pages September 29, 2026) or reported by a named third party. None of it is a quote.

DocuSign CLM has no public price. Vendr's signed-contract data puts it at $20,000 to $60,000 a year for 10 to 25 users, rising to $60,000 to $200,000 for 25 to 100 users, with implementation on top. Docusign does list its newer IAM plans at $45, $50 and $80 per user a month, but redlining, approvals and AI-Assisted Review sit on IAM for Enterprise, which is quote-only and starts at five users.
The one thing to remember. The $50 IAM seat buys a repository, templates and signing. The review and negotiation workflow is the part you have to call sales for.
Docusign sells three things that get confused in pricing articles: eSignature, Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM), and CLM. The first two have list prices. The third does not. These are the IAM plans as shown on ecom.docusign.com on September 29, 2026, annual commitment, before tax.
Personal $11 a month (5 envelopes a month), Standard $30 per user a month, Business Pro $45 per user a month, annual. Signing only. No repository analysis, no contract workflow.
The CLM product page offers "Talk to an Expert" and a guided tour. Docusign says 2,200 enterprises use it and that it has been a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for CLM six years running. There is no figure anywhere on the page.
Every article in the current top results repeats "$45 to $80 per user" as if that bought CLM. Read Docusign's own comparison table row by row and a different picture comes out. The rows a legal team shops for are exactly the ones marked "contact sales" or "does not include" until the Enterprise tier.
So the realistic budget for Docusign as a contract review tool is not $50 a seat. It is whatever the IAM for Enterprise or CLM quote says, for at least five users.

The CLM figures in circulation as of September 29, 2026. The confidence column is our judgment of what stands behind each number. Vendr's bands are the only ones built from contracts buyers actually signed.
| Reported figure | What it covers | Source | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| $20,000 to $60,000 a year | CLM, 10 to 25 users | Vendr marketplace, updated February 2026; repeated by Bind Legal, August 2026 | High, signed contracts |
| $60,000 to $200,000 a year | CLM, 25 to 100 users | Vendr marketplace, February 2026 | High, signed contracts |
| $200,000 to $500,000+ a year | CLM, more than 100 users | Vendr marketplace, February 2026 | High, signed contracts |
| $3,000 to $8,000 a month | Mid-market teams of 10 to 50 users ($36,000 to $96,000 a year) | Layer3Labs guide, July 2026 | Medium, consistent with Vendr |
| $10,000 to $50,000+ a year | "Enterprise CLM" entry | Hyperstart, July 2026 (a rival CLM vendor) | Low, floor below any Vendr band |
| $10,000 to $30,000+ one time | Implementation, depending on integrations and migration | Layer3Labs, July 2026 | Medium |
| $200 to $350 an hour | Docusign Professional Services | Hyperstart, July 2026 | Medium |
| $5,000 to $15,000 | Standard Salesforce integration; $15,000 to $30,000 advanced; SAP $10,000 to $25,000 | Hyperstart, July 2026 | Low, single rival source |
| $5,000 to $50,000+ a year | Premium support | SpotDraft blog citing Vendr, updated September 2026 | Medium |
| 5 to 8 percent a year | Renewal escalator | Hyperstart, July 2026 | Medium, typical for CLM |
| 15 to 30 percent off list | Discount with multi-year terms and a competing quote | Vendr, February 2026; 12 percent average negotiated discount per G2, cited by SpotDraft | High |
If one of these shows up in a budget memo as "what DocuSign CLM costs," the budget is wrong before the demo starts.
It is the median across 1,133 Docusign deals of every kind, and most Docusign spend is eSignature. It says little about CLM, whose smallest Vendr band starts at $20,000 for 10 users.
Several ranking guides still list "Personal $10, Business Pro $40" inside CLM pricing tables. Docusign's page today shows $11, $30 for Standard and $45 for Business Pro, and none of those plans is CLM.
Headlines reading "DocuSign CLM from $120 per user per year" are the entry signing plan multiplied by twelve. It does not include a single contract lifecycle feature.
Ten users, list prices where Docusign prints them, Vendr's band where it does not, and implementation at the reported $10,000 to $30,000. Bars are to scale against the high end of CLM.
The IAM rows look cheap because they are. They also leave out redlining, approvals and AI review, which is why most legal teams end up on the quoted rows.
| Line item, 10 users | CLM low | CLM high |
|---|---|---|
| License, year one (Vendr band) | $20,000 | $60,000 |
| Implementation, one time | $10,000 | $30,000 |
| Year two license at a 6 percent escalator | $21,200 | $63,600 |
| Two-year total | $51,200 | $153,600 |
| LegalSoul, for comparison | $2,376 over two years on Solo | $7,176 over two years on Professional |
The LegalSoul row is not like-for-like and is there on purpose. DocuSign CLM generates contracts from templates, routes approvals, collects signatures and runs a repository with over 100 pre-trained extraction models. If your sales team needs to self-serve on order forms inside Salesforce, that is what the money buys. If the real bottleneck is a lawyer reading every inbound agreement, the difference between the rows is the price of features you will not use.
DocuSign CLM usually shares a shortlist with Ironclad, SpotDraft and Juro. The fastest way to sort the list is by what anyone outside the vendor can tell you about cost.
| Tool | Published price | Best public cost figure | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| DocuSign CLM | None | $20,000 to $60,000 a year for 10 to 25 users (Vendr) | Companies already standardized on Docusign and Salesforce |
| Docusign IAM | Yes, $45 to $80 per user a month | Enterprise tier with redlining and AI review is quote-only | Business teams that mostly send, sign and store |
| Ironclad | None | $40,109 average across 213 tracked deals (Vendr) | High-volume commercial contracting |
| SpotDraft | None | Median $25,278, observed $8,280 to $30,307 (Vendr) | Growing in-house teams that want implementation included |
| Juro | None, an estimator form | Median $31,164 (Vendr) | Unlimited users, browser-native drafting |
| Concord | Yes | $499 a month with 5 users, $49 per extra user, annual | Small teams that want a listed CLM price |
| LegalSoul | Yes | $99 a month for 100 reviews, $299 for 500 | Reading contracts, leases and briefs for risk, no rollout |
We are the narrowest tool in that table. LegalSoul does not route approvals, hold a repository or collect signatures, and we do not have a SOC 2 report or SAML single sign-on. If those are requirements, compare the quote against our Ironclad pricing breakdown and the SpotDraft pricing figures, or see how the field splits in Ironclad competitors for small legal teams.
The right-hand column is what LegalSoul is built for. Upload one agreement to the AI contract review software at the top of this page and within a minute you will know whether a review tool covers your problem.
Each one targets a line that moves the total, and each has a public benchmark you can quote back.
Is this quote for CLM or for IAM for Enterprise, and which of the two do we actually need for redlining and approvals?
Is AI-Assisted Review in the price, or a separate line?
What does implementation cost, fixed fee or hourly, and against what scope?
Is the Salesforce or SAP integration included, or priced separately?
Will you cap the renewal increase in writing, and at what percentage?
What does a three-year term take off the price, given Vendr reports 15 to 30 percent?
Why is a 10-user quote above $60,000, the top of Vendr's band for 10 to 25 users?
Docusign does not publish a CLM price. Vendr, which tracks signed software contracts, puts DocuSign CLM at $20,000 to $60,000 a year for 10 to 25 users, $60,000 to $200,000 for 25 to 100 users, and $200,000 to $500,000 or more above 100 users. Implementation, reported at $10,000 to $30,000 or more, is billed on top.
Docusign lists IAM Starter at $45 per user per month, IAM Standard at $50 with a 3-user minimum, and IAM Professional at $80 with a 3-user minimum, all on annual commitments. IAM for Enterprise starts at 5 users and is quote-only. That quoted tier is the one with redlining, approvals and AI-Assisted Review.
No. eSignature plans, listed at $11 a month for Personal and $30 or $45 per user per month for Standard and Business Pro, cover sending and signing. CLM is a separate product on a custom quote. IAM plans sit in between, bundling eSignature with an AI agreement repository and no-code workflows.
Not a self-serve one. Docusign offers a free trial for eSignature, but the CLM product page leads to Talk to an Expert and a guided tour. Expect a demo and a sales-led evaluation before you see a number, and plan for weeks between first call and a signed order form.
Only on the quoted tier. Docusign's own IAM comparison lists redlining, approvals and request intake as contact sales on IAM Professional and not included on Starter or Standard. AI-Assisted Review is included only in IAM for Enterprise, which starts at five users and has no list price.
Reports range from about three months on average, according to G2 reviews cited by SpotDraft, to six to twelve months for an enterprise deployment, according to Hyperstart. One-time setup is reported at $10,000 to $30,000 or more, and Docusign Professional Services at $200 to $350 an hour.
At the small end they overlap. Vendr puts DocuSign CLM at $20,000 to $60,000 a year for 10 to 25 users and reports an average Ironclad contract of $40,109 across 213 deals. For about 25 users and 1,000 contracts, Vendr estimates Docusign CLM at $60,000 to $95,000 and Ironclad at $70,000 to $110,000.
For full contract lifecycle management the usual shortlist is Ironclad, SpotDraft, Juro, Agiloft and LinkSquares, all quote-only, plus Concord, which publishes a price. If the job is reading agreements for risk rather than routing and storing them, a review tool such as LegalSoul from $99 a month is the closer fit, with no annual commitment.
Upload one contract, lease or brief and get the issues, risky clauses and page cites in under a minute. Plans are published from $99 a month, with no seat minimum and no sales call.
